Car versus truck crash injures 2

Two drivers were injured at 1:33 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, when their vehicles crashed on Highway 25 at Thiesse Road, east of Brainerd.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported a Chevy Silverado, driven by Joseph M. Norman, 49, Brainerd, was north on Highway 25, and a Chevy Malibu, driven by Terri M. Tretter, 19, Pierz, was south on the highway, when the Malibu turned in front of the truck at the intersection at Thiesse Road.

Both drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries and Norman was transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd and Tretter was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office, Brainerd Fire Department and North Memorial Health ambulance and air care assisted at the scene.
