Faith in Action for Cass County and Horizon Health Faith in Action are sponsoring a six-week Powerful Tools for Caregivers class at 1 p.m. on Mondays, beginning Aug. 18 at the Backus City Hall, 112 King Street.
Theresa Eclov and Krisie Charnley, LSW, certified Powerful Tools class leaders, will share tools and resources to help reduce stress, improve self-confidence, balance life, better communicate feelings, increase ability to make decisions, and learn to locate helpful resources.
Class materials include The Caregiver Helpbook, specifically designed for this evidence-based course, funded in part through the Central MN Council on Aging. Classtime care for family members may be requested through Faith in Action respite services at no cost.
