WALKER-Cass County Board has moved the date for the county's annual planning retreat from June 28 to June 24.
It will begin with a breakfast buffet at 8 a.m. in the dormitory dining room at Deep Portage Learning Center, 2197 Nature Center Drive NW, east of Hackensack. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the great room at Deep Portage.
County department heads will discuss changes in each department in the last year and trends they see for the coming year that could impact the county's 2017 budget.
They also will discuss the impact of new state legislation passed this session.
Anyone planning to attend is asked to call the county administrator's office at 218-547-7419 by June 22 to reserve a meal.
