WALKER - Cass County Board has changed meeting times and locations this month.
The Dec. 1 regular board meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the courthouse in Walker. The commissioners will reconvene following a brief supper break for a public hearing at 6 p.m. to receive comments on the proposed 2016 budget and levy.
At 6:15 p.m., they will open a public hearing on a proposal to implement a one-half cent sales tax to pay for resurfacing county and state aid roads and laying new pavement on some existing gravel roads. They are scheduled to consider following the hearing whether to approve that tax.
The Dec. 15 regular county board meeting will begin at 10 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. and will be at the courthouse in Walker rather than the land department building in Backus.
