Both incumbent Cass County commissioners in contested races held on to win their districts.

District 2 Commissioner Robert Kangas outlasted challenger John W. Warren, 1,708 votes to 952 votes.

In District 3, Commissioner Jeff Peterson bested challenger Phil Kinnunen, 2,373 votes to 730 votes.

Dick Downham ran unopposed in District 5, earning 1,619 votes.
