Cass County calls emergency declaration

Storm damage from July 21 caused a significant amount of public property damage, resulting in the Cass County Office of Emergency Management requesting the chair of County Board of Commissioners to declare Cass County in a state of local emergency.

Storm damage from July 21 caused a significant amount of public property damage, resulting in the Cass County Office of Emergency Management requesting the chair of County Board of Commissioners to declare Cass County in a state of local emergency.

This declaration will make it possible for all cities and townships that suffered public property damage or the need to clear roads to apply for reimbursement of damages.
