WALKER - The Cass County Sheriff's office handled 150 calls for service over the weekend from incidents related to the Eelpout Festival held on Leech Lake in Walker.
Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reported a relatively safe Eelpout Festival, despite frigid temps and severe wind chill conditions.
A snowmobile crash was reported at 6:54 p.m. Friday where two men were injured. It was reported Alexander Wintle, 24, Blaine, was operating a snowmobile travelling south on Walker Bay of Leech Lake when it hit a compacted snow drift throwing Wintle and his passenger, Phillip Wintle, 22, Blaine, from the machine. The two men were transported by North Ambulance to Sanford Hospital in Bemidji with non-life threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation by the sheriff's office.
At 11:29 a.m. Sunday, a report of a fish house on fire was reported in Walker Bay. The Walker Fire Department extinguished the fire and no injuries were reported.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office and its Toward Zero Death partners including the Minnesota State Patrol and police departments in Pike Bay Township, Walker, Longville, Pine River and Lake Shore arrested a total of 12 intoxicated drivers during the event. Many additional traffic citations were issued.

Preliminary activity reports show approximately 35 individuals were arrested and booked at the Cass County Detention Center for charges including driving under the influence, disorderly conduct, assault, burglary and minor consumption.
