BACKUS — The Backus Lions will have a Catch the Cash No Touch fundraiser 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Backus American Legion parking lot.
Backus Lions, like a lot of other organizations, canceled several fundraising events. Despite that, the Lions still want to support the community.
For those interested in helping the Lions raise money for numerous groups in the Backus area, drive in, deposit a contribution in the net held out as participants stay safe in their vehicles, circle around and drive out. By donating, the Lions can continue supporting the community.
