The state-mandated Child Support Task Force will host a public comment meeting in Brainerd to hear personal experiences, challenges, successes and suggestions for improving Minnesota's child support guidelines.
The meeting will take place noon-6 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Crow Wing County Land Services building, 322 Laurel St. The public comment session will be 4-6 p.m. and the public is asked to limit their comments to five minutes per person.
The charge of the task force is to advise the Minnesota Department of Human Services commissioner on matters relevant to maintaining effective and efficient child support guidelines that will best serve the children of Minnesota.
