BEMIDJI - The death of a 4-year-old Thursday morning in Bemidji appears accidental but is under investigation, officials said.
Bemidji police, ambulance personnel and firefighters responded to a medical call just before 10 a.m. on the 2700 block of Birchmont Drive NE, according to a release from the Bemidji Police Department. Emergency personnel assisted with CPR.
The child was transported to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center, where efforts to revive the child were unsuccessful.
The cause of death appeared accidental, but Bemidji police were investigating.
