Christmas fundraiser for needy veterans underway

Homeless and Wounded Warriors MN kicked off its Christmas fundraiser for 2018 and is seeking donations to assist needy veteran families during the holidays.

Homeless and Wounded Warriors MN kicked off its Christmas fundraiser for 2018 and is seeking donations to assist needy veteran families during the holidays.

Nominations are submitted by friends, families and neighbors as well as county and state agencies. All families are screened for need and monthly budgets are looked at to select the 10 neediest families.

Cash donations may be dropped off at the Crosslake Legion or mailed to Homeless and Wounded Warriors MN, 36200 Pondview Lane, Crosslake, MN, 56442. There will be a dropbox for kids gifts at both the Crosslake Legion and the Crosby-Ironton Courier office in Crosby.
