Chuck Chalberg, who teaches American history at Normandale Community College in Bloomington and is a senior fellow at Center of the American Experiment, will examine Alexis de Tocqueville's contentions that a democracy's drive for equality would fuel despotic government with a presentation titled "Our Country at a Crossroads" from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Heartwood Senior Living in Crosby.
