LITTLE FALLS-Great River Arts will present Pinch Planters Youth Clay Workshop with Michelle Young on May 1, 3, 8 and 10 in Little Falls.

This class will take a child through the process of hand-building and glazing clay pottery to create a planter ideal for flowers or succulents. Classes go from 4-5:15 p.m. each day.

Fiber artist Pam Collins returns to GRA from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 5 to teach an adult art class titled "Fabric is Paint." This workshop encourages students to "paint" with fabric swatches, remnants and scraps of materials, a news release stated. Collins will demonstrate how to create a vibrant art with the color, texture, depth and richness that can only be achieved using fabrics. Participants will leave with a completed 12-by-16-inch canvas filled with vivid colors and textures. Students should bring a fabric scissors and are welcome to bring any fabric pieces they may want to incorporate in their artwork.

For more information or to register visit GRA's website at www.greatart.org , the organization's Facebook page or call 320-632-0960.
