Christina Anderson, business services director at Central Lakes College, was honored Thursday, Dec. 12, at the 2019 CFO Annual Conference at the Minnesota State System office in St. Paul.

Anderson and the rest of the NextGen Enterprise Resource Planning Finance request for proposal team were awarded the Chancellor’s Award for their work in laying the groundwork for a successful implementation of the finance module for Minnesota State’s new enterprise resource planning system.

The Chancellor’s Award recognizes individuals or teams whose efforts support the strategic framework and result in systemwide improvements in financial management, services or processes. Award criteria focuses on innovation, collaboration and new work that is above and beyond regular duties.

“The Chancellor’s Award honors leaders in the system that contribute to projects and initiatives that ultimately benefit students at all Minnesota State colleges and universities,” Bill Maki, interim vice chancellor for finance and facilities of Minnesota State, said in a news release.
