Another Central Lakes College course has been Quality Matters-certified by the Minnesota Online Quality Initiative.
English instructor Julie Austin's Composition I course joins two of her other English courses in QM certification.
Austin's course is among hundreds of higher education courses nationwide to be given the honor by the Minnesota Online Quality Initiative, an organization using peer review of online or blended courses for QM recognition.
Each of the recognized courses has been formally reviewed in a rigorous peer review process and meets QM standards. Each faculty member has received a certificate and a QM seal to display on their course materials.
There have been 362 QM-recognized courses from Minnesota State Colleges and Universities institutions and the University of Minnesota from 2010-2015, with CLC accounting for 11 of those.
