Central Lakes College students took home the top three awards at the Twin Cities Auto Show's car wrap contest held March 15 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
The challenge was to design a patriotic themed car wrap. CLC student Jeremy Goddard, Verndale, won first place, which was a 43-inch high-definition TV. Student Aleisha Johnson won the second place prize of $150 and Kira Moses, Crosby, won the third place prize of $100.
"I am extremely proud of how the students came through this design challenge," said Leon Dahlvang, CLC graphic design instructor, in a release. "They worked under extreme stress of several ongoing projects, meeting the strict deadline to submit their entries for this competition."
Goddard's winning car wrap concept design was created at CLC, while the production was done on the car at Automotive Performance Studio out of Hopkins.
