CLC students earn high honors in SkillsUSA National Championship

Two Central Lakes College students took high honors at the SkillsUSA National Championship Competition.

The SkillsUSA Championships are career competition events showcasing the best career and technical education students in the nation. Contests begin locally and continue through the state and national levels.

Benny Minten took first place in the diesel equipment technology contest, while Caleb Hasbargen took third in the welding contest.

CLC post-secondary enrollment options student Ethan Strong also competed in the high school division welding contest.
