Central Lakes College is hosting an informational meeting on travel study opportunities in Thailand and Guatemala at 7 p.m. Oct. 23 in room E362, Brainerd campus.
There will be a brief presentation on each of the trips, followed by a chance for attendees to ask questions. The Guatemala trip is scheduled for March of 2018 and the Thailand trip is in May of 2018.
"Travel studies are a great growth opportunity and they're just plain fun," CLC
geography instructor Michael Hopps stated in a news release. "You learn a lot of the background information before you go and when you see the country in person, you understand the land and the people even better. You gain a deeper appreciation for a new culture."
