PILLAGER - The Cass County Sheriff's Office will host its Community Outreach Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Sylvan Township Building in Pillager.
Participants who attend the event may visit with Sheriff Tom Burch and members of the Sheriff's Office staff. People can learn about initiatives within the sheriff's office and receive applications for a permit to carry a firearm or purchase a firearm, alarm permit applications and event permit applications. The county's portable "Take It To The Box" prescription drug disposal box will be available for safe medication disposal. Staff can assist you in signing up for the county's instant emergency notification program "Nixle."
