A live simulcast will provide Brainerd lakes area residents a chance to be part of two-day conference designed to help adoptive and foster parents, ministry leaders and professionals better understand how to connect with "children from hard places" in order to help them heal and become all that God desires for them to be.

Empowered To Connect, together with Show Hope and The Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at TCU, hosts the Empowered To Connect Conference-Bringing Hope and Healing to families-the Empowered to Connect Conference-will be April 7-8.

The Brainerd Church of the Nazarene will be hosting the live simulcast.

A Dr. Davis Cross quote in the back of the workbook advises: "Stay calm, no matter what. See the need behind the behavior. Find a way to meet the need. Don't quit-if you do, than who?"

Registration is $15, which will include the workbook and refreshments during the two days.
