Pavement removal on County Road 134 will begin today.
The Crow Wing County Highway Department entered into a contract with Anderson Brothers Construction for bituminous surfacing of the road, culvert replacement at Thompson Creek and grading from Trout Lake Drive to one-quarter mile south.
Culvert work will begin on Tuesday and grading is scheduled for the week of Sept. 8. The paving schedule is undetermined at this time, but construction operations are scheduled to be completed by Sept. 27.
Drivers should expect delays and use caution while traveling through the construction zone.
