BAXTER-Construction of three right turn lanes on Elder Drive from Garrison Road to Forthun Road for the HJ Development Retail Site began Monday.
Local access to existing businesses will be maintained during construction; however, narrowing of traffic lanes and shifting of traffic may occur. Construction is expected to continue for the next three to four weeks.
The city of Baxter asks motorists to drive with caution in the work zone and avoid the construction area if possible.
