The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office has received reports within the last week of counterfeit bills being circulated in the Garrison area.
The sheriff's office is investigating and asks the public and businesses to inspect any currency and report all suspicious activity or persons to the sheriff's office at 218-829-4749.
