Construction on County Highway 25 starts Wednesday.
The Crow Wing County Highway Department entered into a contract with Anderson Brothers Construction for centerline culvert installations and bituminous surfacing on County Highway 25 from Highway 18 to Highway 210.
County Highway 25 is scheduled to be closed to through traffic Wednesday through July 14 for the installation of centerline culverts. The detour route will use highways 18, 25 and 210. The first culvert installation will be just north of the Cemstone entrance, approximately 1,500 feet south of Highway 210. Operations will then proceed to the south.
There are two centerline culvert installations north of White Pine Drive, one between White Pine Drive and Woodrow Road and five south of Woodrow Road. Culverts will also be installed at Savire Lane, Woodrow Road, Ironwood Lane and Ironwood Drive. Visit https://egram.crowwing.us/ for daily construction updates.
Paving operations are scheduled for the week of July 17. Traffic will be controlled with flaggers and a pilot car as needed. Drivers should expect delays and use caution while traveling through the construction zone. All construction operations are expected to be completed by the end of July.
