For the rest of this week, county maintenance workers will plow, scrape and apply material to roads when it snows.
Crews will also continue cutting and chipping trees that fell during previous snowstorms, on various county roads early in the week.
Once the storm-related tree cleanup is complete, county maintenance crews will begin brush and tree removal in county road right of ways on County Road 159, in Nokay Lake Township between County Road 8 and Nokay Hall Road and on County Road 103, in the city of Crosslake and Ideal Township between County Road 3 and County Road 39.
Chipping of the smaller brush will take place at the site. The crews will cut and place larger trees at the back of the road right of way for property owners. Depending on the weather, the cleanup should last a few days. The major brushwork will continue through March.
Please be aware of the work zones, trucks/equipment and the workers when traveling on county roads. Minor traffic delays may occur.
