Seasonal county right-of-way ditch mowing will begin Monday.
Crow Wing County mowers will be mowing the grass closest to the edge of the road. Mowing right-of-way ditches improves a driver's line-of-sight distance and makes animals such as deer more visible.
Depending on the weather, mowing the grass closest to the road should last about five weeks.
"Please be mindful of the mowers and the operators when traveling on our county roads," a county news release stated.
