Crow Wing County Land Services is requesting public comment on a proposal to designate a portion of the Mississippi River Northwoods area as multi-use trails.
The plan calls for setting aside 11.5 miles of the existing 35 miles of trails for that purpose within 2,000 acres of county-managed public forest located 5 miles east of Brainerd.
The proposed trail application and trail suitability analysis can be accessed by visiting www.crowwing.us and clicking on "Crow Wing County Listens."
