BAXTER - A driver and her passenger were injured in a two-vehicle, broadside crash on Highway 371 and Lake Forest Drive in Baxter, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
It was reported a Honda Odyssey Sport driven by Harlan L. Scherer, 85, Gold Canyon, Ariz., was making a wide U-turn from northbound to go southbound on Highway 371 at the intersection of Lake Forest Drive. The Honda crashed into a Ford Escape driven by Marla J. Carey, 45, Pine River, who was traveling southbound on Highway 371, the state patrol said.
Carey and her passenger, Grace E. Carey, 14, Pine River, had non-life-threatening injuries
and were transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.
Scherer and his spouse, Nola J. Scherer, 83, who was a passenger, had no apparent injuries.
