Crane Meadows NWR hosts 9th Annual Backyard Bird Feeder event

LITTLE FALLS--Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge and the Friends of Crane Meadows invite the public to build a bird feeder to take home with them during the Ninth Annual Backyard Bird Feeder Event 9 a.m.-noon Dec. 8.

LITTLE FALLS-Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge and the Friends of Crane Meadows invite the public to build a bird feeder to take home with them during the Ninth Annual Backyard Bird Feeder Event 9 a.m.-noon Dec. 8.

All materials and instructions to build the bird feeders are provided for free, but visitors can make a donation to the Friends of Crane Meadows to continue to support of programming.

The event will be at the refuge maintenance shop at Crane Meadows NWR, 19502 Iris Road, Little Falls.

Due to a limited number of kits, there will be a limit of one fly-through bird feeder per family. Additional suet feeders will be available for purchase from the Friends of Crane Meadows.
