What started out as a driving complaint turned into a single-vehicle crash and resulted in the arrest of the driver.
Brainerd police were called at 11:38 p.m. Thursday, April 5, to check on a driving complaint. The driving complaint soon turned into a rollover crash at Washington Street and Gillis Avenue. Brainerd firefighters extricated the driver from the vehicle and assisted North Memorial Ambulance. Traffic was detoured a block north of the crash site.
Brainerd police arrested the 34-year-old male driver for second-degree driving while intoxicated and driving after cancellation.
