Five people suffered injuries in a three-vehicle crash Friday night north of Brainerd.
The crash was reported on wet roads at 5:24 p.m. Friday on Highway 371 north of Johnson Road.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported the three vehicles were all northbound on Highway 371 at the time of the crash.
Drivers of a Chevy Silverado and a Honda Pilot were stopped in the left lane as traffic ahead was moving for an emergency vehicle on the shoulder, the state patrol reported. Then a chain reaction crash enveloped those vehicles.
The driver of a Chevy Cruze struck the Pilot, which then struck the Silverado, resulting in multiple injuries — although none was reported to be life-threatening.
