A Pequot Lakes couple was injured in a two-vehicle broadside crash at 6:55 p.m. Monday on Highway 371 and White Gable Road, north of Brainerd, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.
It was reported a Honda Odyssey driven by Paulette M. Rasmussen, 63, Pequot Lakes, was northbound on Highway 371 and a Mitsubishi Endeavor driven by Taylor A. Krueger, 20, Baxter, was westbound on White Gables Road, when the vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of Highway 371.
Rasmussen and her spouse, James A. Rasmussen, 69, Pequot Lakes, were taken to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd for non-life-threatening injuries. They both were wearing their seat belts, the state patrol said.
Krueger and his two passengers, Jacob D. Gifford, and Micah D. Topete, both age 17 and addresses unknown, had no apparent injuries.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office assisted the state patrol at the scene.
