Crash injures woman at Charles Street intersection

A 37-year-old Brainerd woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported just before 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, at the intersection of Northwest Fifth and Charles streets in Brainerd.

A 37-year-old Brainerd woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported just before 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, at the intersection of Northwest Fifth and Charles streets in Brainerd.

The Brainerd Police Department reported Logan Hines, 16, Brainerd, was driving east on Charles Street, when a vehicle driven by Catherine Klocke, 37, Brainerd, started driving south across Charles Street from Northwest Fifth Street. The vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection.

Hines was not injured, but Klocke suffered injuries and was transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, where she was treated and then released. The Brainerd Fire Department responded to the scene to help extricatrate the victims.
