Two Brainerd drivers were injured when their vehicles collided at 4:59 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, on Wise Road in Brainerd.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office reported two vehicles were traveling east on Wise Road, when a vehicle driven by Matthew G. Cool, 31, Brainerd, stopped in traffic to make a left turn onto Terratrac Road. In a vehicle behind Cool’s, driver Harold O. Carlson, 16, Brainerd, looked down to answer a phone call and didn’t notice the vehicle in front of him had stopped to turn, the sheriff’s office reported.
The two vehicles collided and both drivers were taken by private parties to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd for minor injuries.
