CUSHING-Three people in a Buick Rendezvous were injured when it was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado at 1:45 p.m. Sunday in Cushing Township in Morrison County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported the Buick was traveling east on Highway 10 and the truck was traveling south on Bison Road. The truck failed to yield and the vehicles collided in the intersection. Road conditions were wet.
The driver of the Buick, Sherryl A. Yechout, 55 of Vadnais Heights, and her two passengers William M. Yechout, 55, and Andrea A. Yechout, 22, both of Vadnais Heights, had non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a hospital. Sherryl and William Yechout were taken to Lakewood Health System in Staples and Andrea A. Yechout was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
The driver of the truck, Theodore E. Prescott, 59, Villard, was not injured.
Morrison County Sheriff's Office, North Memorial Air Care, Gold Cross Ambulance and the Minnesota Department of Transportation assisted the state patrol at the scene.
