The Morrison County Sheriff's Office responded Friday to a report of shots fired at a home in Swanville Township.
No one inside the residence was injured, but investigators located a window that had been shot through from outside the home, according to a release from the sheriff's office. Witnesses said four people had left the scene in a Chevy Impala.
One of the suspects was later found in Flensburg. Through the course of the investigation, investigators were able to locate the suspect vehicle in Browerville, in Todd County.
The Morrison County SWAT Team raided 30940 Highway 71, Browerville, in connection with the shooting, after obtaining a search warrant, the release said.
Three adult suspects were arrested by the Morrison County Sheriff's Office and are awaiting formal charges stemming from the shooting. People who were not associated with the shooting were present inside the residence and were arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
The Todd County Sheriff's Office took two people, a 36-year-old man and 27-year-old woman into custody for controlled substance offences with the woman also face charges connected to the shooting.
The Morrison County Sheriff's Office believes this was an isolated incident and there is no known danger to the public. The active investigation continues, the release stated. The Morrison County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Todd County Sheriff's Office, The Little Falls Police Department and the Browerville Fire Rescue and Ambulance Service.
