Baxter police

SUSPICIOUS—Report 3:15 a.m. Friday of a person sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot at Walmart, 7295 Glory Road, for an extended amount of time. Person said he was waiting for other shoppers. The shoppers later exited the store and officer noted they were in the store for more than two hours and only purchased one item together.

Report 8:54 p.m. Thursday of an unknown male banging on the window and door on the 13000 block of Glenwood Drive, who then fled on foot. Officers were unable to locate.

DISTURBANCE—Report 1:20 p.m. Thursday of a verbal domestic disturbance on the 7300 block of Clearwater Road. A female was transported from scene by officers and advised of order for protection options.

Report 9:11 a.m. Thursday of a disturbance at the Holiday Stationstore, 14136 Baxter Drive. A male and female were having a verbal argument and the officer transported the male to a different location.

Report at 8:46 p.m. Tuesday of a juvenile female throwing items on the 13000 block of Memorywood Drive. Officers spoke with the people involved and the female agreed to clean her room and go to bed.

Report Tuesday of a person who became agitated at Creative Transitional Solutions, 8055 Industrial Park Road. Officer spoke with the person who agreed to go into a quiet room until their ride arrives.

DOMESTIC—Report at 1:55 p.m. Thursday of complainant and other person being hit with a hammer on the 7900 block of Greenwood Road. None of them were injured and officers determined no assault occurred. A male was taken by ambulance to the emergency room for an evaluation.

THEFT—Report Wednesday of a purse taken from a vehicle on the 13000 block of Memorywood Drive.

ARREST—A 20-year-old man was arrested at 2:23 a.m. Wednesday for driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop on Excelsior Road and Forest Drive.

Crow Wing sheriff

DISTURBANCE—Report at 4:14 p.m. Wednesday of a verbal argument on the 12000 block of Highway 210, Brainerd.

Pequot Lakes police

ARREST—A 45-year-old man was arrested April 6 for fifth-degree drug possession, giving a false name, driving after suspension and no insurance during a traffic stop on Highway 371 and County Highway 16, Jenkins.

Nisswa police

ARRESTS—A 44-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were arrested April 5 for fifth-degree drug possession, no insurance and driving after revocation during a traffic stop on Smiley Road.

Breezy Point police

FIRE—Report April 4 of a small fire in the mulch around a building on the 9300 block of Arnold Palmer Drive. The corner of the building was hot and charred and likely from careless discarded cigarette. The Pequot Lakes Fire Department extinguished the fire.
