Baxter police

ARRESTS—A 34-year-old man was arrested at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, on a probation violation following a report of a man acting strange and making staff uncomfortable at Days Inn, 14466 Dellwood Drive.

Report at 10:58 p.m. Monday of a juvenile girl arrested for domestic assault on the 4800 block of Circle Pines Road.

A 53-year-old woman was arrested at 5:55 p.m. Monday for driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop on Highway 371 and Clearwater Road.

SUSPICIOUS—Report at 8:07 p.m. Tuesday of a person acting strange at Essentia Health-Baxter Clinic, 13060 Isle Drive. Officers learned she is on the Little Falls Police Department's alert for Keep Our Police Safe. The alert is to give officers in other agencies a heads up in knowing it could be an unsafe situation if they encounter the person, as stated on the Minneapolis Police Department's website.

Report at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday of a suspicious male digging up a package near a tree on the 15000 block of Dellwood Drive. Officers made contact and the male showed them a bag of clothing he stated he left there previously and returned to retrieve.

DISTURBANCES—Report at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday of a male in Room 133 at Days Inn being rude and refusing the leave at check-out time. Officer advised him to leave and he complied.

THEFT—Report Monday of a theft of a cellphone on Foley Road. Officer tracked phone around the Big Lake/Monticello area.

SUSPICIOUS—Report at 8:16 p.m. Monday of someone on the 10000 block of Five Mile Road, Brainerd, who was not supposed to be there.

Report at 1:05 p.m. Monday of suspicious vehicles on the 500 block of Crow Wing County Road 113, Pierz. Turned out they were coyote hunters in the area running dogs.

DISTURBANCES—Report March 7 of a domestic disturbance at a residence on the 900 block of Poplar Street. Officer received the information, advised the people involved and one person agreed to leave the residence.
