Sheriff announces Level 3 offender is now homeless
Crow Wing County Sheriff Scott Goddard announced a Level 3 predatory offender is now homeless in rural Crow Wing County.
Terrance Lee Lindmark, 57, is living in the vicinity of French Rapids, northeast of Brainerd near the Mississippi River.
Lindmark has a history of sexual contact with male and female victims, ages 4-10 years old. Force was used to gain compliance, and Lindmark was known to his victims. He served the sentence imposed on him by the court and is not wanted by law enforcement.
Goddard said there will not be a public notification meeting concerning Lindmark's relocation, as he has been a resident of Crow Wing County for many years and was being monitored by the sheriff's office prior to becoming homeless. Goddard notified residents living within the area of Lindmark's reported location and provided them with a public information fact sheet.
"My office has a very proactive monitoring system for predatory offenders who are living in Crow Wing County and they are checked on by our deputies regularly," Goddard stated in a news release. "I want to assure the public that we are extremely vigilant on monitoring and checking on Mr. Lindmark and other predatory offenders in the community."
The sheriff's office may not direct where Lindmark does or does not reside, nor can the agency direct where Level 3 predatory offenders work or go to school.
Goddard reminded citizens they can visit the predatory offender search via the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension website.
