DISTURBANCES -- Report at 10:59 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, of a male yelling and screaming across the street from the YMCA on the 600 block of Oak Street.

Report at 2:30 p.m. Sunday of an intoxicated male at Lum Park, 1619 NE Washington St. Officers made contact and a person agreed to bring him home and to watch over him.

Report at 8:49 a.m. Sunday of a disturbance on the 800 block of Quince Street. Officers found the yelling to be from cats.

Report at 8:34 a.m. Sunday of an argument in the parking lot on the 400 block of East River Road. Officers made contact and the argument was resolved.

Report at 11:53 a.m. Saturday of a dispute on the 1300 block of Norwood Street. Officers made contact and mediated the situation.

Report at 5:07 p.m. Saturday of a disturbance at PORT Group Home for Girls, 115 N. First St. A juvenile girl was taken into custody for first-degree assault, fourth-degree property damage and disorderly conduct. The juvenile was taken to the Northwestern Juvenile Center in Bemidji.

Report at 12:58 a.m. Saturday of a potential fight escalating on South Seventh Street at Laurel Street. Officer intervened before it became physical. People were sent on their way.

Report at 12:23 p.m. Friday of a person making a lot of noise and yelling on the 800 block of Walnut Street.

Report at 12:59 p.m. Aug. 7 of a disturbance on the 1100 block of Quince Street. Two females were cited for disorderly conduct.

PROPERTY DAMAGE -- Report Sunday morning of vulgar words written in chalk on the walls of the Brainerd Public Library, 416 S. Fifth St. Officers removed the words off the wall.

ARRESTS -- A 49-year-old man was arrested at 11:49 p.m. Sunday for a Department of Corrections warrant following a report of a suspicious male on the 500 block of D Street.

A 24-year-old man was arrested at 9:12 p.m. Sunday for third-degree driving while intoxicated on Crow Wing County Highway 3 at Legionville Road, Merrifield.

A 34-year-old man was arrested at 8:18 p.m. Saturday for first-degree DWI, driving after revocation and possessing marijuana following a driving complaint on the 800 block of Washington Street.

A 28-year-old man was arrested at 12:32 a.m. Saturday for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance during a traffic stop on the 1200 block of South Sixth Street.

A 29-year-old man was arrested at 9:47 p.m. Thursday for interfering with a 911 call, domestic assault and disorderly conduct following a 911 hangup call on the 1600 block of 10th Avenue Northeast.

A 45-year-old man was arrested at 9:39 p.m. Thursday for fifth-degree drug possession following a disturbance on the 700 block of Ivy Street.

A 42-year-old man was arrested at 1:41 a.m. Aug. 7 for fourth-degree DWI, third-degree test refusal and driving after suspension during a traffic stop on Southwest Fourth Street at College Drive.

THEFT -- Report Monday of a theft of a cellphone holder pouch taken off a bicycle on the 400 block of East River Road.

Report Thursday of a theft of a cellphone on the 2900 block of Oak Street.

Report Thursday of a theft of a bike taken two weeks ago on the 300 block of North Ninth Street.

SUSPICIOUS -- Report at 1:07 a.m. Sunday of unknown males hanging around on the 1400 block of Oak Street being loud and swearing. Officers responded and was unable to locate them.

Report at 8:32 p.m. Friday of two loud explosions on the 8600 block of Sugarberry Creek. Officers were unable to locate any obvious source.

Report at 3:57 p.m. Friday of a female who went into a yard and took a bike near Southeast 13th Street and Oak Street. Unknown if the bike was stolen and officers were unable to locate the female.

Report at 11:23 a.m. Thursday of two young teenagers riding bicycles wearing animal hats -- one with a panda hat and the other in a bunny hat -- riding in and out of traffic on North Eighth Street and Washington Street. Officers were unable to locate them.

SUSPICIOUS -- Report at 2:39 a.m. Tuesday of people playing football in the Walmart parking lot, 7295 Glory Road. Officer confirmed two people were playing catch with a football.

Report at 11:44 p.m. Sunday of a group of people in the parking lot on the 13000 block of Kenwood Drive possibly starting to cause a disturbance. Officer arrived and everyone was gone.

Report at 2:37 a.m. Sunday of an occupied vehicle at Whipple Beach Park, 14441 Oakwood Drive. Officer advised them of park hours.

Report at 1:19 a.m. Saturday of a male lying on the grass on the 7800 block of Excelsior Road. Officers made contact and someone gave the male a ride.

Report at 11:54 p.m. Friday of a suspicious vehicle parked at Whipple park after hours. Officers advised the people who left.

Report at 8:34 p.m. Friday of four juveniles playing on the railroad tracks near highways 210 and 371. The officer located the juveniles and gave them a ride home.

ARRESTS -- A 52-year-old man was arrested at 4:09 p.m. Sunday following a suspicious vehicle in a new construction area on the 14000 block of Edgewood Drive.

A 35-year-old man was arrested at 1:14 a.m. Saturday for drug possession, DWI-drugs and a parole violation during a traffic stop on Forthun Road at Isle Drive.

A 35-year-old woman was arrested 6:31 p.m. Thursday for drug charges and probation violation during a traffic stop on Excelsior Road and Golf Course Drive.

DOMESTIC -- Report at 11:53 p.m. Aug. 7 of caller stating his wife is trying to make him leave the house on the 13000 block of Park Street. Neither person was willing to leave for the night, but agreed to remain in separate rooms.
