ARRESTS-A 25-year-old man was arrested at 9:16 p.m. Sunday, June 9, for driving while intoxicated with a controlled substance and drug possession following a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 500 block of Washington Street, Brainerd.

A 46-year-old man was arrested at 3:27 a.m. Sunday for a DWI during a traffic stop on Highway 210 and Elder Drive.

A 34-year-old man was arrested at 8:41 p.m. Saturday for fourth-degree DWI during a traffic stop on Highway 6 and Crow Wing County Highway 11, Crosby.

A 27-year-old man was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Saturday for a DWI during a traffic stop on Highway 371 and Cinosam Road, Brainerd.

A 39-year-old man was arrested at 10:50 p.m. Friday for a DWI with a controlled substance and drug possession during a traffic stop on Highway 371 and Pine Beach Road.

SUSPICIOUS-Report at 6:41 p.m. Sunday of a person panhandling near a roadway by Walmart, 7295 Glory Road. Officer spoke with person and sent her on her way.

Report at 12:46 a.m. Sunday of a vehicle parked at Berrywood Park, 13199 Berrywood Drive. People were advised of park hours.

Report at 10:50 p.m. Saturday of a suspicious vehicle alongside Cottage Grove Drive and Clearwater Road. The driver stated she and the occupants were just driving around. Officer advised driver she had no business being in the area at that time of night.

Report at 6:30 p.m. Friday of Walmart loss prevention staff attempting to contact a person who declined to go with staff who possibly concealed items.

DISTURBANCE-Report at 9:27 p.m. Saturday of a guest of Holiday Inn Express and Suites Brainerd-Baxter, 15739 Audubon Way, who just checked in and was belligerent and hotel staff did not want the guest there. Officer spoke with the person and made arrangements for a family member to pick him up.

THEFT-Report Friday of a caller dropping two Texas Dall rams with a person for an animal mount in 2011 and the caller has not heard from them.

SUSPICIOUS-Report at 11:18 p.m. Sunday of a suspicious vehicle on the 21000 block of Crow Wing County Highway 12, Ironton. Vehicle left prior to deputy's arrival.

Report at 11:44 a.m. Sunday of a suspicious vehicle on the 16000 block of Sanctuary Way, Brainerd. Deputy made contact and person stated he was listening to music with friends.

Report at 9:36 a.m. Sunday of a suspicious vehicle driving through the area on the 18000 block of Hartley Lake Road, Brainerd. A deputy was unable to locate.

Report at 12:04 a.m. Saturday of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot on Beaver Dam and Wise roads. A deputy made contact with the driver who stopped to text a friend.

DISTURBANCES-Report at 10:37 p.m. Sunday of caller hearing a gunshot and people arguing on the 19000 block of Rider Road, Ironton. The call was unfounded.

Report at 7:24 p.m. Sunday of a disturbance on the 26000 block of Highway 210 in Aitkin. A person became upset and out of control while on the property. Deputies advised the person to leave and he left.

Report at 8:31 p.m. Saturday of an argument at Brainerd International Raceway, 5523 Birchdale Road. Deputies learned no one was fighting.

Report at 8:31 p.m. Saturday of an argument between a mother and adult son on the 21000 block of Stratford Road, Nisswa. The son left prior to a deputy's arrival.

THEFT-Report Saturday of a theft of a sign on the 39000 block of Highway 6, Emily.

Report at 2:21 a.m. Saturday of a theft of a cooler at BIR. Deputies issued a citation for underage consumption and possession of fake identification.

ARRESTS-A 36-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were arrested at 9:09 p.m. Sunday on two county warrants following a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 4700 block of White Pine Road, Garrison.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at 9:32 p.m. Friday after causing a disturbance with security staff at BIR. Earlier this man, at 6:31 p.m. was causing a disturbance at a restaurant and deputies responded and mediated the situation.

BURGLARY-Report Saturday of a burglary to a garage on the 10000 block of Graff Park Road, Brainerd.

FIRES-Report at 1:42 a.m. Saturday of a grass fire on the 15000 block of Blueberry Hill Road, Bay Lake Township. Deerwood Fire Department and the DNR responded.

Report at 9:11 p.m. Friday of a brush fire on the 25000 block of County Highway 3, Merrifield. Mission firefighters extinguished the fire.

Nisswa police

ARREST-- A 33-year-old woman was arrested at 7:43 p.m. Sunday for drug possession on the 22000 block of Camp Lincoln Road.

MEDICAL-Report at 4:49 p.m. Thursday of an employee at Grand View Lodge, 23521 Nokomis Ave., who broke his leg when a skid loader backed into him and pinned him against another machine. North Memorial Ambulance transported the employee to a hospital.

ASSAULT-Report Friday of a woman who volunteers for a reproductive education clinic, WeARE based in Brainerd, asking business owners if she could display a flyer at their businesses and a woman began yelling at her and calling her names such as "baby killer." During the confrontation, the complainant put her hand up palm faced out and told her to stop and the woman did the same thing and grabbed the complainant's arm.

Breezy Point police

ARRESTS-A 44-year-old woman was arrested at 7:08 p.m. Sunday for third-degree DWI following a driving complaint of a woman passed out in her vehicle in the lane of traffic on the 9200 block of Breezy Point Drive.

A 25-year-old man was arrested at 2:35 a.m. Sunday for drug possession during a traffic stop on Crow Wing County Highway 11 and Timberlane Point.

DISTURBANCE-Report at 3:23 p.m. Thursday of a UPS driver stating a person found him at Deacons maintenance facility on Deacons Way and screamed at him about his driving conduct. The GPS on the truck showed a maximum speed of 28 mph on an 18 mph road. The driver was warned about his driving conduct.

Crosby police

DISTURBANCES-Report Saturday of a disturbance and possible domestic dispute at a residence on Second Street Northeast. Officers made contact and learned a male was outside on the telephone arguing with the person on the other line.

Report Friday of a disturbance on the 300 block of Third Avenue Northwest. A neighbor would not give the caller back their phone after they used it. An officer assisted in getting the caller their phone back. The neighbor stated they were not done making calls.

Report Wednesday of a domestic disturbance involving a boy at a residence on Second Street Northwest. Details were obtained and the boy was transported to a relative's for the night.

Report June 4 of a disturbance at a residence on the 500 block of Third Street Southwest. The caller reported a male was yelling all night. Officers made contact and advised.

Report June 4 of a disturbance at a business on Oak Street and possible property damage. Officers made contact and there was no damage. They advised people of the complaint.

SUSPICIOUS-Report Sunday of two suspicious males walking through the alleyway off Second Avenue Northeast. Officers responded and were unable to locate anyone.

ARREST-A 61-year-old man was arrested Friday for DWI, test refusal and obstructing the legal process during a traffic stop on the 400 block of Third Street Southwest.

BURGLARY-Report Thursday of a burglary of a business on the 300 block of West Main Street. A basement window was damaged and items were taken.

Report June 3 of a domestic dispute on Third Avenue Northwest near a business. A person left for the night.
