ARRESTS -- A 19-year-old man was arrested at 12:53 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, for underage consumption of alcohol following a report of an intoxicated man on the 500 block of South Sixth Street.

A 35-year-old man was arrested at 10:55 p.m. Monday for a Department of Corrections warrant, felony domestic assault and other offenses following a report of a domestic disturbance on the 200 block of Southwest Fourth Street.

A 33-year-old man was arrested at 5:33 p.m. Monday for misdemeanor domestic assault and disorderly conduct on the 1200 block of Pine Street.

A 20-year-old man was arrested at 1:55 a.m. Sunday for third-degree driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop on the 800 block of South Eighth Street. A man also was cited for underage consumption.

A 26-year-old woman was arrested at 11:39 p.m. Saturday for domestic assault and disorderly conduct following a dispute on the 200 block of Southwest Eighth Street.

A 28-year-old man was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Saturday for fifth-degree drug sales and driving after cancellation during a traffic stop on Kelly Rae Road and Karie Lane.

A 30-year-old man was arrested at 1:16 a.m. Friday for disorderly conduct and a noise ordinance violation following a domestic disturbance on the 200 block of South Eighth Street.

A 13-year-old girl was arrested at 8:29 p.m. Thursday for domestic assault and disorderly conduct following a physical domestic incident on the 11000 block of Arlington Avenue.

A 42-year-old man was arrested at 8:04 p.m. Thursday for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance following a driving complaint on Northeast Washington Street.

A 43-year-old man was arrested at 1:22 a.m. Sept. 5 for second-degree DWI during a traffic stop on B Street and Third Avenue Northeast.

A 21-year-old man was arrested Sept. 4 on a domestic abuse no contact violation following a report of a domestic dispute on the 300 block of James Street.

SUSPICIOUS -- Report at 10:38 p.m. Monday of a large group of people gathered outside a closed business on the 400 block of South Fifth Street. Police advised the group to not hang around a closed business.

Report at 6:05 p.m. Sunday of a possible attempted burglary on the 700 block of H Street, but no entry was gained.

Report at 9:12 a.m. Sunday of a person possibly living in a storage garage on the 1600 block of Kitty Hawk Court. Officers checked the unlocked units but did not locate anyone.

Report Saturday of homeless person tenting in the area of Northwest Second and James streets.

Report at 8:33 a.m. Saturday of people squatting in a vacant lot on the 300 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast.

Report at 8:58 p.m. Friday of the complainant’s back door being opened and shut on the 200 block of Gillis Avenue. Officers checked the residence and didn’t find anything.

Report at 5:20 p.m. Sept. 5 of a suspicious vehicle at the Alex and Brandon Child Safety Center, 2602 Oak St. The driver stated he fell asleep and didn’t see the person he brought to the center leave on foot.

THEFTS -- Report Monday of a theft of several tools from a truck parked in the parking lot at Essentia Health Sports Center, 502 Jackson St.

Report Monday of a theft of a tree swing and American flag stolen from a yard on the 900 block of Willow Street.

Report Monday of a package stolen from inside a building on the 800 block of Walnut Street.

Report Monday of a theft of a backpack taken from a vehicle on the 1200 block of West Campus Drive.

Report Sunday of a theft of a boat on the 100 block of First Avenue Northeast.

Report Sunday of a theft from a vehicle on the 200 block of South Ninth Street.

Report Saturday of a theft of items from a vehicle parked on the 100 block of Kelly Rae Road.

Report Saturday of a theft of a cellphone taken from a vehicle parked on Front Street.

Report Saturday of a theft of a leaf blower taken from a garage on the 900 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast.

Report Friday of a theft of a backpack and Chromebook taken at Brainerd High School, 702 S. Fifth St.

Report Friday of numerous thefts from multiple residences over a period of time at Bethany Good Samaritan, 804 Wright St.

Report Friday of a theft of a go-kart on the 1100 block of South 10th Street.

Report Friday of a theft of a bicycle on the 900 block of F Street.

Report Sept. 5 of items taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 700 block of Second Avenue Northeast.

Report Sept. 5 of a theft from a vehicle on the 300 block of North Ninth Street.

DISTURBANCES -- Report at 2:05 p.m. Sunday of an argument on the 500 block of Northwest Seventh Street. People involved agreed to separate for the night.

Report at 10:08 a.m. Sunday of caller wanting a male removed from the 1200 block of Pine Street. Male left before police arrived.

Report at 2:18 a.m. Sunday of a possible physical domestic assault on 28th Street Southeast. Officers responded and learned it was a verbal dispute only and people involved agreed to separate for the night.

Report at 2:06 p.m. Saturday of people yelling at a female from a vehicle on Quince and South Sixth streets. Officers were unable to locate vehicle.

Baxter police

SUSPICIOUS -- Report at 3:38 a.m. Tuesday of a vehicle in the parking lot at Lakes Audio, 7313 Novotny Road, with its hazard lights on after hours. The building was secure.

Report at 9:46 p.m. Monday of a vehicle in the middle of the road on Inglewood Drive and Woida Road and then it drove off. Police were unable to locate.

Nisswa police

FIRE -- Report at 9:41 a.m. Sunday of smoke from a fireplace filling a residence on the 4900 block of Wilderness Ridge Road. Nisswa Fire Department responded and provided ventilation and checked the fireplace.

DISTURBANCES -- Report at 9:12 a.m. Friday of a male in a silver Honda Civic upset over a parking dispute at the gas pumps on the 4900 block of Crow Wing County Highway 77. The male called a female several names and left. Police were unable to locate the Honda.

Assisted Pequot Lakes police at 8:03 p.m. Sept. 4 with a physical domestic on the 5300 block of County Highway 11, Pequot Lakes, with an intoxicated female who stated a male had pushed, slapped and punched her. No marks were evident on the female and male stated he had only pushed her and slapped her. Female did not want to press charges.

Report at 9:57 a.m. Sept. 3. of a male being threatened with a hammer on the 23000 block of Smiley Road. A female was able to take the hammer away from the male. The victim did not wish to pursue charges.

Report Sept. 2 of a male who seemed to be under the influence of drugs refusing to leave Wendy’s, 4872 County Highway 77. Officer made contact and person appeared to have mental health issues and was trying to get to Foley.

ARREST -- A 40-year-old man was arrested Sept. 2 for first-degree drug sale, second- and fifth-degree drug possession, DWI, driving after revocation and possessing hypodermic needles and marijuana during a traffic stop on county highways 13 and 371.
