ARRESTS — A 51-year-old man was arrested at 2:37 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, for driving while intoxicated-controlled substance during a traffic stop on Highway 371.

A 43-year-old woman was arrested at 6:57 p.m. Sunday for DWI and drug possession following a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 14000 block of Edgewood Drive.

A 37-year-old man was arrested at 3:47 a.m. Sunday for fourth-degree DWI and drug possession during a traffic stop on Highway 210 and Meredith Drive.

A 35-year-old woman was arrested at 2:36 a.m. Friday for DWI-controlled substance and drug possession during a traffic stop on Wise Road and Dellwood Drive.

Assisted the Minnesota Department of Corrections at 6:46 p.m. Thursday with arresting a 33-year-old man, who is a registered Level 3 offender, on the 14000 block of Bur Oak Drive for a warrant.

A 57-year-old man was arrested at 1:03 p.m. Wednesday following a report of theft at Mills Fleet Farm, 14114 Dellwood Drive.

A 61-year-old man and a 58-year-old man were arrested at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday during a traffic stop on Glenwood Drive and Fairview Road. The driver was arrested for DWI-controlled substance and the passenger, who also was observed driving the vehicle, also was arrested for DWI.

DISTURBANCE — Report at 11:16 p.m. Saturday of a group of teenagers at Walmart, 7295 Glory Road, driving motorized carts and crashing into displays and each other. Staff asked them to leave and one became upset and caused a minor disturbance before leaving.

Report at 11:27 a.m. Thursday of a fight in the classroom at Forestview Middle School, 12149 Knollwood Drive.

Report at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday of a student causing a domestic disturbance and being physical with staff at Forestview.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 6:57 p.m. Sunday of a suspicious vehicle parked at China Buffet, 14091 Baxter Drive, which was closed. People stated they stopped to talk.

Report at 7:05 p.m. Saturday of a vehicle driving slowly near Mapleton Road and Ironwood Drive making multiple stops on the shoulder. Driver was on break from work and just letting the vehicle warm up.

Report at 5:02 a.m. Saturday of a male standing on Woida Road and Inglewood Drive yelling. Officer made contact with the man who was intoxicated and trying to walk home.

CRASHES — Report at 11:12 a.m. Sunday of a minor personal injury crash on Garrison Road at Elmwood Drive, where a vehicle lost control on the icy road and struck another vehicle. The driver of the vehicle that was struck reported a possible injury, but refused medical attention.

Report at 5:37 p.m. Thursday of a rear-end crash at highways 210 and 371. The driver of the second vehicle stated their neck was sore, but refused medical attention.

Report at 3:16 p.m. Thursday of a vehicle rear-ending a school bus on Highland Scenic Road at Highway 210. The vehicle had minor damage and the bus was not damaged. The students on the bus were not injured.

Brainerd police

ARRESTS — A 16-year-old boy was arrested at 1:21 a.m. Sunday for vehicle theft on the 1600 block of 10th Avenue Northeast.

A 44-year-old woman was arrested at 11:12 p.m. Saturday for domestic assault and disorderly conduct following a domestic disturbance on the 500 block of Ninth Avenue Northeast.

A 61-year-old woman was arrested at 1:02 a.m. Friday for driving after cancellation, fifth-degree drug possession and possessing a hypodermic needle and legend drug during a traffic stop at South Sixth and Oak streets.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested at 1:02 a.m. Friday for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree DWI and possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on the 3300 block of Oak Street.

A 31-year-old woman was arrested at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday for trespassing and consuming alcohol in public following a report of a burglary in progress on Merri Lane in Stoneybrook South mobile home park.

A 24-year-old man was arrested at 8:42 p.m. Jan. 7 for second-degree assault, domestic assault, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia following an assault on Merri Lane.

THEFT — Report Jan. 7 of a theft of ear buds at Brainerd High School, 702 S. Fifth St.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 3:25 p.m. Sunday of a verbal domestic disturbance on the 600 block of Norwood Street.

Report at 8:27 a.m. Sunday of a verbal domestic dispute on the 600 block of Norwood Street. A person involved left for the day.

Report at 8:52 p.m. Saturday of a domestic disturbance on the 1400 block of Norwood Street. Officers made contact and the people involved were advised to keep the noise down.

Report at 4:18 p.m. Saturday of a verbal domestic dispute on the 1700 block of 13th Avenue Northeast. Officers made contact and transported two people to their residence.

Report at 8:39 a.m. Wednesday of a female BHS student causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the classroom.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 7:35 p.m. Sunday of a male in and out of a store several times on the 400 block of Northwest Sixth Street. Male stated he was warming up and was on his way.
