ARREST — A 33-year-old man was arrested at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, following a report of an assault on the 4800 block of Brentwood Road.

Crow Wing sheriff

ASSIST — Assisted Brainerd police at 9:17 p.m. on Jessica Lane with a K-9 track after a stolen vehicle was located. Two suspects were later arrested at a nearby residence.

ARRESTS — A 28-year-old man and a 54-year-old man were arrested at 11:07 a.m. Thursday on county warrants for fifth-degree drug possession after deputies assisted probation agents with the arrest on the 5200 block of Stewart Drive, Fort Ripley.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at 8:37 p.m. Jan. 13 for driving while intoxicated following a driving complaint on the 6800 block of St. Mathias Road, Brainerd.

FIRE — Report at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday of a fire at a pole barn with an all-terrain vehicle inside on the 21000 block of Crow Wing County Highway 1, Emily. The Emily and Fifty Lakes fire departments responded and reported the fire possibly could have been started by a portable heater.

THEFT — Report Wednesday of a theft of a trailer on the 17000 block of Terratrac Road, Brainerd.

Report Wednesday of a theft of mail from a mailbox on the 4700 block of Gull Lake Dam Road, Brainerd.

Report Jan. 13 of two possible mail thefts in Deerwood.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 7:58 a.m. Wednesday of an older man who came to the door of a residence on the 10000 block of Highway 25, rang the doorbell and then left when he was asked what he needed.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 2:12 p.m. Jan. 14 of a domestic disturbance involving a juvenile on the 15000 block of Nokay Lake Road, Brainerd. The juvenile didn’t want to pursue charges and the deputy advised them of their options.

Little Falls police

SUSPICIOUS — Report Jan. 11 of a very intoxicated person yelling and screaming in a hallway of an apartment on the 900 block of First Avenue Southwest. Officers made contact and a person was instructed to stay in his room and quiet down.

Report Jan. 11 of someone who possibly was in a garage on the 1700 block of First Avenue Northwest. Officers were unable to locate anyone.

DISTURBANCES — Report Jan. 11 of a fight between two men and a woman was also assaulted on the 100 block of First Street Southeast. Both men admitted to wrestling and fighting but neither wanted to pursue charges and the woman stated she was trying to break up the fight.

Report Jan. 10 of a suspicious person pounding on a door on the 800 block of Eighth Street Southwest. The reporting party thought it could be a drunk neighbor.

Morrison sheriff

ALCOHOL — Report at 2:19 a.m. Wednesday of an 18-year-old boy who admitted to giving alcohol to a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl on the 300 block of Main Street in Pierz. He stated he stole the alcohol from his parents’ house. They were cited for minor consumption.

THEFT — Report Wednesday of a vehicle theft in Hillman.

Report Jan. 10 of a theft of a small dirt bike from an outdoor shed in Hillman.

Report Jan. 10 of a theft of six ice fishing rods and reels out of a fish house parked on the 1700 block of 260th Street, Cushing.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 2:27 a.m. Jan. 12 of a domestic disturbance at the Main Gate Bar, 15401 Highway 15, Little Falls.

Report at 5:36 p.m. Jan. 11 of a possible domestic disturbance on the 17000 block of 80th Avenue, Little Falls. Deputies responded and learned a woman had possibly left on foot and the people who were involved were intoxicated.
