ARRESTS — A 23-year-old man was arrested at 12:10 a.m. Monday, April 6, following a report of a suspicious vehicle at Walmart, 7295 Glory Road.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at 7:15 p.m. Sunday for domestic assault by strangulation following an assault on the 7300 block of Clearwater Road.

A 37-year-old man was arrested at 8:52 p.m. Saturday for violating the conditions of his release, drug possession and trespassing at Walmart.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 11:07 p.m. Sunday of a verbal domestic disturbance on the 12000 block of Kingwood Drive. The people involved agreed to separate for the night.

Report at 4:25 p.m. Sunday of the caller hearing arguing at a townhome on the 14000 block of Grand Oaks Drive. Officer made contact and was advised it was only a verbal argument only.

Report at 3:03 p.m. Thursday of people arguing in the parking lot at Walmart. Officers mediated the situation and the people were separated for the rest of the day.

THEFT — Report Sunday of a theft of more than $1,000 of merchandise taken from Walmart.

SCAM — Report Saturday of a caller stating her house on the 15000 block of Dellwood Drive is posted on Craiglist, a classified advertisement website, for rent and it is not for rent.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 12:41 p.m. Sunday of a suspicious person walking in the area on Crow Wing County Road 144, Brainerd, possibly looking into mailboxes.

Report at 2:06 a.m. Sunday of people walking with flashlights and screaming on the 19000 block of Woods Edge Trail, Brainerd. Deputy learned it was a neighboring residence playing a game.

Report at 3:32 a.m. Saturday of two vehicles parked at the Bay Lake Access in Deerwood. The deputy spoke with the people about the public access being closed.

Report at 7:57 p.m. Friday of the caller hearing his door open and close on the 25000 block of Eagle Drive, Aitkin. Deputy checked the area and was unable to locate anything suspicious.

BURGLARY — Report Sunday of a storage unit broken into on the 27000 block of Highway 18, Garrison.

Report Saturday of a burglary to a shed on the 20000 block of Highway 6, Deerwood, where fishing equipment was taken.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 10:24 a.m. Saturday of a verbal argument on the 16000 block of County Highway 2, Brainerd.

Report at 1:19 p.m. Friday of a physical altercation between a juvenile and a stepfather on the 16000 block of Jacks Lake Road, Brainerd. Deputies plan to write up the paperwork for possible criminal charges to be filed.

Report at 11:11 a.m. Friday of a domestic disturbance on the 6800 block of Ruby Lane, Brainerd. People involved in the dispute agreed to separate.

ARREST — A 44-year-old man was arrested at 9:27 p.m. Friday for driving while intoxicated after a vehicle was found stalled on County Highway 32 and Mississippi River Road.

THEFTS — Report Friday of a theft of a pontoon lift on the 12000 block of County Road 118, Merrifield.

Report Thursday of a theft of a gun on the 10000 block of Sleepy Hollow Road, Brainerd.

Report Thursday of a theft of a trailer on the 27000 block of Stark Lake Road, Aitkin.

DISTURBANCE — Report at 12:20 a.m. Saturday of a verbal argument on Spruce Street.

Breezy Point police

PARTY COMPLAINT — An officer observed a dozen cars and drunk young people at 7 p.m. Saturday outside a house on the 8100 block of Shady Trail. The resident was warned for hosting the party in violation of the shelter-in-place order.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 4:55 p.m. April 1 of a male walking around a residence on the 9300 block of Crow Wing County Highway 11. It was learned the property was fraudulently listed as a rental on Craigslist.

FIRE — Report at 6:34 p.m. March 31 of an unattended brush pile, along with a dead tree about 150 feet away from the pile burning on the 8100 block of Ski Chalet Drive.
