ALEXANDRIA, Minn. — A former Minnesota resident was arrested in connection with a homicide in Blanco County, Texas.
Jarrett Bous, 58, of Johnson City, Texas, was arrested in Alexandria, Minn., on Thursday, July 23.
Michael Fuller, assistant chief deputy with the U.S. Marshals Service in Minnesota, said the North Star Fugitive Task Force in Minnesota received information from the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in Texas that Bous was in this area and that there was a murder warrant out for his arrest.
He said Bous, who has relatives in the area, was apprehended and taken into custody without incident and is in the Douglas County Jail.
Fuller said Bous will go through the state extradition process and does not know when he will be returned to Texas. He said he does not have further details on the case as the U.S. Marshals Service “typically doesn’t get that info.”
