DISTURBANCES — Report at 1:56 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, of a male refusing to leave a room at AmericInn Lodge and Suites, 7836 Fairview Road, so housekeeping could clean. The subject was out of the room when police arrived. Hotel officials said the subject was being disrespectful to staff, and the subject said he did not hear housekeeping. Hotel staff advised the subject he could stay and requested no further assistance.

Report at 11:47 a.m. Monday of a customer upset about having to wear a mask at Menards, 15236 Dellwood Drive. The customer was gone when police arrived.

Report at 10:41 a.m. Monday of a subject refusing to leave Best Buy, 14555 Edgewood Drive. The subject was upset after being told he had to make an appointment to have his computer fixed. Officers convinced the subject to leave without incident.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 11:48 p.m. Sunday of a person walking into a room that was not theirs at AmericInn Lodge and Suites, 7836 Fairview Road. Officers found the subject to be intoxicated and learned he had walked into the room by mistake, as the door was open.

Report at 9:03 p.m. Sunday of a suspicious vehicle near the water tower on Hastings Road. Subjects were playing Pokemon Go.

Report at 7:58 p.m. Sunday of a male acting suspicious on the 13000 block of Berrywood Drive. The male was found to live at that location.

Report at 5:37 p.m. Saturday of a male walking by the complainant’s girlfriend and trying to start a conversation. The girlfriend said she did not want him to walk with her, and he left. The complainant said he just wanted a report on file.

Report at 1:12 a.m. Friday of a vehicle parked at the back door of Hirshfield’s Paints and Coatings, 7447 Clearwater Road. The juvenile driver was verbally warned for curfew violation.

Report at 12:13 a.m. Friday of a vehicle parked at Inglewood Drive and Fairview Road. It was a paper delivery.

ARREST — A man was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 9:13 p.m. Saturday on Highway 371 and Woida Road.

THEFT — Report Friday of 10-15 gallons of gas siphoned out of a vehicle earlier that morning on the 14000 block of Baxter Drive. The gas cap was missing. The vehicle was parked between Westgate Mall and Lakes 12 Theatre.

Breezy Point police

DISTURBANCES — Report at 1:45 p.m. Sunday of a domestic dispute between a father and son on the 32000 block of West Street. Police did not find anything physical to have occurred between the parties, only that the son had kicked a few things when he was drunk. Both parties were calm and agreed things would be fine.

Report at 8:17 p.m. Saturday of a vehicle driving by the complainant’s house yelling out the window and flipping him off on the 30000 block of Appalachian Drive. The complainant recognized the subject as someone with whom he had an ongoing dispute. Police attempted to call the subject but got no answer. Police advised the complainant to consider applying for a restraining order.

THEFT — Report July 29 of the theft of a generator on Old Highway 371, Jenkins.

ARREST — A 30-year-old man was arrested at 3:32 p.m. July 28 following the report of a burglary on County Road 168.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 9:08 p.m. July 27 of a suspicious vehicle on State Highway 371 and Olson Road.
