ARRESTS — A 62-year-old man was arrested at 1:58 a.m. Monday, April 12, for driving while intoxicated with controlled substances during a traffic stop on Highway 371 at Excelsior Road.
A 50-year-old man was arrested at 1 p.m. Saturday on a warrant following information that he was with his children and they were scared. The children were returned to the complainant.
A 35-year-old man was arrested at 12:21 p.m. Saturday for disorderly conduct after a report of a male yelling at staff at Menards, 15236 Dellwood Drive.
A 36-year-old woman was arrested at 10:24 p.m. April 9 for a DWI-controlled substance during a traffic stop on Excelsior Road at Highway 371.
A 45-year-old man was arrested at 8:33 p.m. April 8 on a warrant following a report from Kohls stating he was making staff feel uncomfortable.
A 45-year-old man was arrested at 6:44 p.m. April 8 for DWI-controlled substance during a traffic stop on Glory Road at Highway 371.
A 63-year-old man was arrested at 2:53 p.m. April 8 for drug sales and possession during a traffic stop at highways 210 and 371.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 10:16 p.m. Sunday of the caller seeing a flashlight outside the neighbor’s house on the 12000 block of Forestview Drive.
Report at 11:20 p.m. Saturday of a vehicle at Whipple Beach Recreation Area, 14441 Oakwood Drive, after hours. The people were eating dinner.
Report at 12:22 a.m. Saturday of a group of vehicles revving their engines at Poncho & Lefty’s, 14151 Edgewood Drive. Officers had a conversation with multiple people and asked them to not do what they were doing and not to loiter at businesses.
DISTURBANCES — Report at 12:59 a.m. Sunday of a verbal argument on the 14000 block of Edgewood Drive. People involved were asked to leave for the night.
Report at 9:22 p.m. Saturday of a person who showed up to the caller’s house on the 14000 block of Grand Oaks Drive and wouldn’t leave.
Report at 11:02 p.m. April 9 of a group of people arguing and possibly fighting on the 14000 block of Edgewood Drive. Officer spoke with the group who stated they had a minor argument with another group that had left prior to their arrival.
Report at 7:18 p.m. April 9 of a person throwing things at the caller on the 14000 block of Grand Oaks Drive. Officers made contact and learned there was an argument and gave the caller a courtesy ride to a different residence.
ANIMAL COMPLAINT — Report at 5:24 p.m. April 9 of an aggressive goose along the walking trail near Grand Oaks Drive. Police advised the caller to stay away from it.

ARREST — A driver was arrested at 12:12 a.m. Sunday for third-degree DWI during a traffic stop on Odonnell Drive and County Highway 11.
FIRES — Report at 6:34 p.m. Saturday of a lawnmower on fire in a yard on the 29000 block of Canary Lane. The officer put out the fire with the squad fire extinguisher.
Report at 2:20 p.m. April 5 of a grass fire caused by a lawnmower on Red Oak Road, Pequot Lakes. The Nisswa Fire Department and DNR responded.
Report at 2:06 p.m. April 5 of a grass fire caused by burning brush on the 28000 block of Pelican Lake Road, Merrifield. Mission Fire Department and DNR responded.
SUSPICIOUS — Report at 4:42 p.m. Saturday of suspicious people on the 30000 block of North Star Drive. Police made contact and the people were contracted to trap beavers.
Report at 2:03 p.m. April 7 of a suspicious male walking around a residence on the 32000 block of Timberlane Point recording. There was an hour delay on the report and male was gone when officers arrived.
Report at 10 a.m. April 7 of a vehicle that pulled into a residence and a male walked up and turned the handle on the 28000 block of Sunset Valley Road. Officers made contact with the male who stated he was attempting to contact the old owner who was an auto mechanic.
