ARRESTS — A 35-year-old man was arrested at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, April 25, following a physical assault between a mother and son on the 6200 block of Highland Scenic Road.

A 35-year-old man was arrested at 1:15 a.m. April 23 for driving while intoxicated with a controlled substance during a traffic stop at Highway 371 and Excelsior Road.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 2:54 p.m. Sunday of a male hanging around all day at Cub Foods, 14113 Edgewood Drive, and making staff feel uncomfortable. Officer made contact and the male was homeless. The officer helped him arrange emergency shelter through The Salvation Army.

Report at 3:31 a.m. Saturday of a suspicious vehicle parked at Gander RV and Outdoors, 14275 Edgewood Drive, that drove away with no headlights on. Officers stopped the vehicle and advised the juvenile driver and passenger.

Report at 3:02 a.m. Saturday of two males in front of Home Depot, 7822 Fairview Road, smoking. A driver came and picked them up.

Report at 2:03 a.m. Saturday of a motorist looking at tires at Tires Plus, 14843 Edgewood Drive N., which was closed. Driver stated he had permission to take the old tires as he pleases.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 1:09 a.m. Sunday of people arguing after staff at Days Inn, 14466 Dellwood Drive, told them to quiet down.

Report at 12:41 p.m. April 23 of two males yelling at each other in the parking lot at Walmart, 7295 Glory Road. Deputies were unable to locate them.

Brainerd police

ASSAULT — Report at 3:35 p.m. April 23 of an assault on Laurel Street. Police are preparing paperwork for fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct charges to be forwarded to the city prosecutor’s office.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 10:06 p.m. Monday of a suspicious vehicle circling the area on the 100 block of Second Avenue Northeast. Police were unable to locate.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 5:17 p.m. Monday of a verbal domestic dispute on the 1100 block of Oak Street.

Report at 4:31 p.m. Monday of a domestic disturbance on the 1400 block of Pine Street.

DISTURBANCES — Report April 20 of an intoxicated male causing a domestic disturbance at a business on Third Avenue Southwest. The male left prior to officers’ arrival.

SUSPICIOUS — Report Sunday of suspicious activity on Sixth Avenue Northeast where a male exited the woods near Cuyuna Range Elementary School and fled when he was approached. Officers were unable to locate him.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 9:03 p.m. Sunday of a domestic disturbance with a male out of control on the 34000 block of Timber Lane, Pequot Lakes.

Report at 6:37 p.m. Sunday of an argument on the 18000 block of Hartley Lake Road, Brainerd. People involved agreed to separate for the night.

Report at 10:52 a.m. Sunday of a domestic disturbance on the 10000 block of Crow Wing County Highway 8, Brainerd. Deputies arrived and found the matter to be civil and advised the people to be calm and cooperative.

Report at 7:38 a.m. April 23 of a verbal domestic on the 23000 block of Cross Drive, Deerwood.

ARREST — A 32-year-old man was arrested at 12:15 a.m. Saturday following a report of a domestic assault on the 7100 block of Browns Lane, Brainerd.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 8:18 a.m. Sunday of a suspicious camper on the 2700 block of Sleepy Hollow Road, Brainerd. Deputy responded and the camper was gone.

Report at 10:21 p.m. Saturday of two vehicles on the side of the road on the 9200 block of County Highway 23, Brainerd. People were bow fishing.

Report at 3:23 a.m. April 23 of a caller hearing someone outside a residence on the 21000 block of Beach Road, Deerwood. Deputies were unable to locate anyone.

ASSAULT — Report at 11:34 p.m. Saturday of an assault on County Road 136 and Eagle Lake Road, Fifty Lakes.

THEFT — Report Saturday of a theft of two propane tanks on the 27000 block of Central Street, Garrison.
