ARRESTS — A 43-year-old was arrested at 12:08 a.m. Thursday, April 29, for driving while intoxicated with a controlled substance, drug possession and a county warrant from Isanti County during a traffic stop on Edgewood Drive and Kirkland Lane.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 7:27 p.m. Wednesday of a parked vehicle with license plates that did not match at Walmart. An officer made contact with the owner, who just purchased the vehicle and was advised to contact the Driver and Vehicle Services.

Report at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday of a male acting creepy toward the caller at Whipple Beach Recreation Area, 14441 Oakwood Drive. Officer made contact with the male and brought him to the emergency room for a mental health evaluation.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 1:30 p.m. Thursday of a disturbance at Cub Foods, 14133 Edgewood Drive, where a female was yelling at patrons and refusing to leave.

Report at 12:20 p.m. Thursday of a disturbance with a person refusing to wear a mask and began yelling at staff at Best Buy, 14555 Edgewood Drive.

Report at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday of a disturbance with a customer at AT&T, 14695 Edgewood Drive. The customer left before officers arrived.

Report at 11:31 a.m. Wednesday of a male yelling at the caller because she was not wearing a mask as she exited PetSmart, 13499 Elmwood Drive. The male followed her to the parking lot and left.

WELFARE CHECKS — Report at 11:15 a.m. Thursday of a welfare check on a woman at Cash Wise Liquor, 14092 Edgewood Drive. She was yelling at customers and would not leave. She left before officers arrived and the store no longer needed assistance.

Report at 4:31 p.m. Wednesday of a child possibly trying to hitchhike with a broken scooter on Inglewood Drive and Austin Road. Officers were unable to locate any child.

THEFT — Report Thursday of a $46.45 theft at Walmart, 7295 Glory Road. A 25-year-old man was cited.

Report Wednesday of a theft of an item worth $208 on the 13000 block of Elmwood Drive.

ARREST — A 43-year-old man was arrested at 4:48 a.m. Wednesday for a Crow Wing County warrant and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance during a traffic stop on the 1300 block of Oak Street.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 2:07 a.m. Wednesday of several people outside on South Seventh Street. The complaint was unfounded.

Report at 11:41 a.m. Wednesday of a male acting strange and yelling on North Eighth and Kingwood streets.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 6:56 p.m. Wednesday of a verbal dispute on Nikkohl Road.

Report at 10:39 p.m. Tuesday of a domestic disturbance on the 2100 block of South Sixth Street.

Report at 4:59 p.m. Wednesday of a possible assault on the 400 block of North Fifth Street.

Report at 11:52 a.m. Wednesday of a domestic disturbance on the 600 block of North Seventh Street.

Report at 10:38 a.m. Wednesday of a domestic disturbance on North Eighth and Washington streets. A male was cited for having marijuana.

Report at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday of a domestic disturbance on the 700 block of Southwest Fifth Street.

Report at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday of a domestic disturbance on the 400 block of Northeast Washington Street.

THEFT — Report Wednesday of a theft of a trailer on the 800 block of Wright Street.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 2:24 p.m. Wednesday of a verbal altercation on the 6800 block of Wetherbee Road, Brainerd. People involved were separated.

Report at 2:43 p.m. Thursday of a domestic disturbance on the 6800 block of Wetherbee Road, Brainerd.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 8:53 p.m. Tuesday of suspicious activity on the 23000 block of Miller Circle, Deerwood. There was an open crawl space door. Nothing was found.

INFORMATION — Deputies responded at 9:48 p.m. Thursday to the 11000 block of Crystal Lake Road, Merrifield, to search for a suspect with a warrant. Authorities were unable to locate the suspect.

THEFT — Report Friday of a theft of wire on the 16000 block of Carlson Lake Road, Brainerd.

Report Wednesday of a theft of two personal watercraft and a trailer taken from Dockside Rental, 4794 Central Ave., Brainerd.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 5:34 p.m. Tuesday of a suspicious vehicle on the 6600 block of County Highway 9, Brainerd.

Report at 10:02 a.m. Tuesday of suspicious activity on the 8600 block of Dosh Lane, Fort Ripley. It was a civil issue over property.
